‘A Touch of Class’ presents… Strictly Westbourne!

A Touch of Class is a Ballroom and Latin Dance Class that takes place on Tuesday evenings in the main Ballroom at the Westbourne Club in River Street Westbourne. The classes are taught by Debbie whose is an International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) qualified Dance Teacher.

The idea for the class was that of Chris Eaton, a relative beginner himself, who wanted to have another place to learn to dance that was a bit nearer. As there wasn’t any Ballroom lessons being taught in Westbourne, he canvassed the “locals” and after a warm reception to the idea, asked Debbie if she would take the class. The rest, as they say, is History!

Our students have ranged in age from their early twenties to their early seventies. We do not teach children, as there are plenty of dance schools for children in the area. You do not have to have a partner, although it is an advantage to find one if you can. Spouses are not always willing volunteer, but it is not uncommon for people to have a different marital partner from their dance partner!

Tuesdays 7pm to 8pm – Beginners Class Tuesdays 8pm to 9pm – Advanced Class.

Venue: Westbourne Club
